A Prayer
Lord, grant to us your peace
In an unquiet world of hate and war,
In which Satanic power holds sway
Until the Judgement Day.
Grant to us not to fear when dangers near,
But to be still and know that you are God:
Whose eyes watch over the world today,
Just as theyve done since time began.
For Jesus, our spotless sacrificial lamb,
Who reigns at your right hand,
Has overcome the world and Satans power.
And in that judgement hour,
He will, one day, return
From His heavenly throne, with His angel band
To the Holy City and the Holy Land,
To claim His own:
Reigning in justice, mercy, love and power,
And wars and enmities will cease
And all the earth will be at peace once more.
