The Spinney
An opportunity was recently taken to combine planting Spring daffodil bulbs with raising awareness of The Spinney, especially for families. There was a Nature Trail which encouraged children to identify tree leaves and a Prize Draw to enable a personal bulb to be planted. Though a cold day, the weather was dry and there was a steady stream of visitors throughout the day. This public amenity has now matured over nearly 5 years and is available to everyone - to explore, meditate or simply pause for a while.
