A Prayer From The Heart
Please God, can you hear me?
I’m feeling in despair,
The one closest to me I’ve really made dislike me
But I do so truly care.
I write and text and say things without thinking
I’m causing so much pain,
Please, I never meant to – forgive me I beseech you
And let me try again.
I try to make close ones happy and also to feel good,
But because of my own actions I’m rightly misunderstood.
Please God, I think you know I’m a nice lad
With a large and giving heart.
Kindness and caring come from me,
Never to depart.
Dear God, I hope you heard me,
I do so truly care.
Please help me rid this body
Of feeling such despair.
