2nd. Camborne Boys Brigade

The company section of 2nd. Camborne Boys Brigade spent a very interesting Monday evening finding ‘evidence’ in the Parish Church.

CSI Ryan Howell from West Midlands Police provided a fun and informative evening, showing the boys how evidence can be gathered at a crime scene and explaining how this can be used in the fight against crime.

Ryan, who was in Cornwall on holiday, is a former 2nd. Camborne member and a BB Queens Man. “Being a member of the Boy’s Brigade went a long way to helping me get where I am today. I was delighted to be given the opportunity to provide some input for current members. I’m sure they’ve enjoyed seeing how real life CSI differs from that seen on the television,“ said Ryan.

The Brigade continues to grow in numbers and is always open to new members aged six and up. We meet on Monday evenings at 6:30 pm at Camborne Parish Church Hall and offer a fun and varied programme for all of our youngsters. If you, or someone you know would be interested in giving The Boys Brigade a try, please call Capt Malcolm Godolphin on 01209-718807 or just turn up on Parade Night where a warm welcome will await. We look forward to seeing you.
